SAB Parish has switched over to a family-based approach to lifelong faith formation! In addition, the Diocese of New Hampshire is implementing "Restored Order." (Click Here to learn more about Restored Order of the Sacraments of Initiation) What does this mean? In brief, it means our Sacramental Prep is now a 2-year parent-led program. Year 1 culminates with the Sacrament of Reconciliation (normally to be received at the end of your child's second grade year), and Year 2 culminates with the reception of Confirmation and First Holy Communion in the same Mass (normally to be received at the end of your child's third grade year).
Family-based Prep Schedule
Sacramental Prep is a part of our G.I.F.T. Family Faith Formation program. Children preparing to receive Confirmation and First Eucharist this year are expected to attend the monthly G.I.F.T. sessions (See September-May Schedule here) with at least one parent/guardian, as well as the extra Sacramental Prep Retreats.

Suggested Completion Guide for Take-Home Materials
When the Church declares someone a saint through canonization, it recognizes that the person lived a life of heroic virtue and holiness (CCC 828). The saints are given to us as models and intercessors, reminding us that we are never alone, but “surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses” (Hebrews 12:1) who pray for us (CCC 956). By choosing a Confirmation saint and taking their name, we are choosing a heavenly friend to guide us, pray for us, and inspire us to live a faithful life.
